That said, and to put this in a World of Warcraft context, repeating the same action while expecting different results is entirely justifiable if you are after a special piece of loot from a certain boss. How interesting. So WoW really does make mad people seem perfectly sane. I've finally figured out the secret to this game. It drives you nuts while tricking your mind into believing you're anything but.

Aggghhh! I have to agree with Jam Master: Vallant was one of the chief principles for why I'd peruse this strip. with him gone, it's...ohhhhh.....it's....(overcome with emotion over a great man's loss)...so saddening, depressing, debilitating, immobilizing (I could go on, you know). AND, to follow up The Warr's comment: is he sent back to HIS reality??? Or...am I missin' something here? AND-his dad: WHAT THE &*$# IS HIS PROBLEM? His son! His son! (Was that crabcake that delicious???)...
I think the eagle had something to do with it.

Killing a boss over and over again for a specific piece of loot is not repeating the same action expecting a different outcome.
The expectation would be for the boss to die, which he usually does.
You loot a different corpse every time, so the loot changing is perfectly fine.
Now, looting the same corpse over and over again, expecting the loot to magically transform, on the other hand...
Now THAT's a "hole" new story! Poor murloc :(

Yet another sad loss. We lose Leeroy, then we lose Mr Chew, Leeroy comes back, and now we lose Vallant? I have a feeling Vallant returns. I still miss Mr Chew tho :(
