DarkMyste, Eighjan was correct with the spelling, but so are you. It can be said both ways but the majority of the time through books, dictionaries; etc Celts is the one used. As for Eric the Red and the vikings, they were not part of the Celts. They often were closely alike for how their cultures were since they lived near each others but were not the same. The vikings often attacked the Celts.
