Already happened. Check the resto tree. Wrath is free and procs insta starfires. Not saying it's actually amazing, but there ya go.
Unless by mage you mean the elemental? I was thinking more along the lines of a Forest Friends spell that commands all forest animals in a 50yd range to attack your target :p
Not just druids, shammys have healing too. So yea...
Course Shammys are to WoW as Red Mages are to FFXI IMO

oh btw don't give blizzard ideas like healing mages, i think we have enough with healing warriors....
