Your point?
The point is the longer you drag out a story that a majority of people find boring and slow; you will lose readers the longer you take to get to major points, such as the Big Plan. Keep dragging it out and it you will find less and less readers are here.
How is the story boring? And how can you speak for everyone else?
Well Manbearpig, how else would you explain the weekly complains about the story progressing way to slow? A person making a joke account named snail etc.? There is just a small group that enjoys this pace and sticks with it, but each week you read that more and more drop out. Cputtre has a point, a slow long dragged story will make people leave at some point. It has your interrest now, but if a part comes that you consider boring and it stays for months... well I doubt you will keep on reading.
Though the writer is the one who decides the pace ofcourse, so we shouldn't truely complain. But I agree to the fact that somethings are kinda dragged out ^^ Especially if you already know what's going to happen in the next frames. (since we all know already a/w)
Short version:
He might not speak for everyone, but atleast for a large group within the tehgladiators community

At this rate it will be Christmas by the time we find out the big plan. You know it will be at least 2 more weeks before he finishes fighting the undead; maybe 3.
