I have been reading teh gladiators for a looong looong time now, the newest episode was dk trevor fighting the leeroy / cat monster. I played EVERY expansion of wow, mostly vanilla and TBC tho, and i creted this account now jsut to answer your question, i quit wow a few times now, returned a few times, and i think MoP will be a cool expansion (loving the new talent system), but i think awell that the comic is going reeealy reaaly slowly and that the comic lost its magic when the "teh gladiators" story line finished like out of nowhere. I really miss the whole thing, and I am not so fond of this new story, i mean its cool and all but the gladiators were a lot better and to be honest we all read wow comics for the fun parts, and not really for dramatic stuff, but thats only my opinion and sorry for the epic long comment :D
I actually stopped playing WoW about 3 years or more ago. Ever since I signed up for the secure password I was hacked multiple times, so often that i quit the game.
So to answer your question No i didn't go to any forums to complain I have know Wow was dead for years, and Blizzard has been scampering to deal with their own internal security leaks who have sold accounts that are no longer being played. I found that my account information was sold 3 times, and when I confronted Blizzard with the proff they said i was the one that allowed someone to get my information and they had nothing to do with it. They promptly started to send me emails saying I was in violation for selling my account. Something I brought to their attention but i was now the one selling it and not their own people. So keep dumping your money into this game and you too will find yourself being accused by Blizzard that you are cheating ans selling your account.
That happens in ALL MMOs like DDO, WoW, Guild Wars, you name it. Yes, it sucks, but that's what hackers do. Welcome to the internet
well it wasn't for the next expac i just find that wow holds nothing for me any more manbear, i am dead serious when i said i have quit wow i quit on june 22nd my sub ran out last week, and i have no itching to get back into the game with all collectors editions of the expacs and the original game{ and beta testing, it as well in the private and public tests}
it just seem that this expac is more looking more and more like they want to draw my daughter{ who is 13 years old} into the game more with the new pet battles and such etc...
if she wants to play it then let her play it i wont say no to her, its good game and it was fun for me, but as the saying goes you grow ou things as you grow older..{ i am 41 years old just turned 41} and wish it very long life, but i will have diablo on my computer so i wont really miss anyhting
Well that's understandable your 41 and you have a family to take care of. I'm talking about people who quit the game for the most bullshit reasons ever.
Is trying out and getting bored of it counts as a reason? :D

Welcome to the internet....LOL that is funny because the only time my account I have even had hacked were the Wow accounts. I have never had any other online game account hacked. Blizzard takes little care to protect its players, and as I have stated earlier; their own people sell the dormant account information which constitutes the hacking
cputtre i was only hacked once in the 7 years i was playing and i got everything back 2 times they hacked me with in the same week all i can say that when i got hacked it was very clever i do not go to any third parties website for wow things and such only visted wow forums and such and that's when i was hacked i also have no script and abs and firefox and they still hacked me with no clue on how they did it, and no this wasn't a dormant account it was very much active, but yet i got everything back for every character they hacked which was funny..
so you may be on to something that they may sell dormant accounts since they never delete accounts on the chance someone may decide to come back and play the wow again, and yes i had to buya auth to keep the hackers out so not bad for 7 year run on only being hacked once
and to man bear i hear what your saying nope i didint ever go to rant on the forums only tme i did actually go to rant prior to quiting was rant about ow they was changing the skill tree for fire mages getting the level 80 spell at 95 in the new expac, i saw the update for that and saw they changed it fast with in month, since it didn't make much sense to have spell that we had at level 80 spell be relearned at level 95 living time bomb
thats about all i ever complained about, i dont know if they ever changed it to something else i will have to see if my daughter starts to play, that or my wife plays..{ yeha i know what you guys are thinking if you quit and have no inking to go back why check up on things, its always good to know things to help out the wife and kids to play better and not hear them complain about it.... yes we are gaming family..}
DarkMyste....then you are lucky. In fact we actually watched as someone cleaned out our guild bank one day. No one had the authority to stop them so they stole everything. Blizzard gave us nothing back, and the user had to wait 3 months before they gave him half the stuff back. So In your case this system works, but I have seen it fail multiple times with very bad encounters with Blizzard customer service.
