In fact, the entire joke kinda' reminds me of that old Daffy Duck cartoon where he's trying to be cool as Robin Hood, singing a song, playing a lute, and "...tripping, tripping gaily thru' the forest!"--
Until he hits a hill and "trips" all the way down to the bottom!
