Must've been a pretty powerful charge if he caused the glass to fly that far and at that velocity.
Big mirror - amazed the shards aren´t larger.
Larger shards would not travel that far. The energy per shard would be the same but the heavy large shards would not get the same velocity. Clever thinking. :-)
