So I'm posting the comic a bit early this week to make amends for last week. The way I see it, many of you have expected the first of this week's two panels, while the second one may come as a slight surprise. Trust me though, all shall be revealed and explained in due time. As you may or may not have guessed, a new story arc is emerging as our version of the cataclysmic events reaches its climax. And has in fact reached its climax with page 208.

it kinda made sence 208 to be Deathwing though. Awsome work by the artist and i like the turn the story is taking! You're No 1 2L, keep it up ;)

See now, nobody told him about Deathwing the Destroyer. Then again, I think that was more the Alliance's problem back during the Second War anyway.
Also, this is a bit of a continuity error here. The orcs didn't head to Kalimdor until Year 25 (Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos). Trolls? Sure. Tauren? Definitely. Orcs? Nope. Now, it's not to say that it's impossible that a group of orcs hadn't left the Eastern Kingdoms after The First War, but it seems unlikely.
I love the flashback... and it makes me a curious reader! :D

Just a quick fact... Gorrok lost his eye to onyxia in the first comic strip, so little Gorrok shouldn't be wearing an eye patch :)
Wtf, he lost his eye when onyxia stabed him with her horn, and now hes wearing the patch 30 years ago ...
Deathwing's face was so ugly IMO, oops! sorry for the critic :(
To all who are saying Gorrok only got his eyepatch after Onyxia slapped him in the face : you are correct.
But do you remember when you were kids and you were playing around, and why not as pirates? He's a kid wanting to act badass (which he is)
For some reason it makes me think about Affection locks, and their Carehunters.

Did anyone notice? Panel 8 changed since yesterday. Before, it read "30 years ago". Now, it just reads "years earlier". Still doesn't quite sync up, but you know... Instead of being completely anal about game lore, it could easily be that this comic takes place many years after Warcraft III, thus the comic's cataclysm also takes place years later.
There, lore inconsistency fixed. Time travel fixes everything! :D

Lol I am a huge fan but there are 2 problems :
One the orcs only came in year 25 according to Warcraft ,even if you changed it (good move to do that before it attracts trolls), of course you could imagine that it happened in our period and that it is in our near-future
Secundo Gorrok has an eye patch , now who knows maybe he found it somewhere and fell in love with it or he's playing pirates ... I don't know all that I do know is that it is inconsistent because in the prologue , he had not worn it yet , then again I could be wrong after all he could have found it in his childhood and then got bored of it and when Onyxia burned his eye out found it a use .
Anyway I am a huge fan and I have been watching your comic as much as I can since the prologue came out and I have been stuck with you ever since .
Also why must we make accounts for comments ? I am always making new ones because I am crap with remembering passwords .

Lol that was a quick fix from 30 years to Years Earlier.
It's still not good. Gorrok has white hair! He should be at least 50-60 (Orcs don't live very long). The flashback should be in Outland/Draenor.
Great comic, and for all the people complaining about inconsistencies, it really doesn't matter. If you wrote a comic you could write your own story, but 2Lions is writing this one, and this is how he pictures it happening, and even following game lore, it could very easily have been 30 years ago in the barrens. Vanilla WoW and BC happened 5 yrs after Warcraft III, they never told us exactly how long we were in Northrend, and even more time past since we returned, again, never stating exactly how long. It's a good comic, its just one of those things your supposed to enjoy just because, and if you don't like the story how the author wrote it, go read something else.

Now either your comic takes place later than most of the events in WoW or you can claim artistic freedom allowing you to not only throw this bit of lore away but any future conflicts.
