I think there has been a lot of questions asked on why they knew each other in the past.. when they only first met at the start of the story. I have a theory that could clean this up.

If you see closely, it is only Gorrok that doesn't know Spin or Vallant, yet they seem to both know Gorrok. Coinsidence? I think not! It could be said that Vallant and Spin still remember the events, yet Gorrok forgot.

It's either that... or another time paradox...

I noticed a coloration error. If you look closely at the milk that is spilling out of young Gorrok's mug in the last panel of page 221, you will see the milk is not white, but the same shade of green as him.
