To be honest, Teh Gladiators lost a bit of their magic when they hit Cataclysm the first time.
I loved their story at the begining and how they managed to win all their matches in arena (those were pure gold) but I agree with above. I welcome the new story arc or the new story in story or new story in story in story.

By now, we don't realy know any more :D

Hey, guys. In the end, for any storyteller (even as confusing and bad one as myself) inspiration is key. I have, unfortunately, lost some wind with Teh Glads and have decided, instead of quitting on you, to illustrate a story I've written a while back.

"A Lost Tale" is a lot more focused and coherent than Teh Gladiators, although fairly different in its nature. Nonetheless, it was done with a lot of inspiration behind it and I'm hoping to translate some of that energy on to you. Cheers!

• Manbearpig: Go, thundersnowsan, tell us your tale
• Taiine: Really I think the Glads started losing it's touch during the alt world thing, and while the flash back to them being kids was a nice touch I think what you had at the start of the conic should have been how it stayed and just make stories based around that like you were. The chaos they could have gotten into though out the x-packs while fighting in the arena could have been fun. That's just my thought as this comic got badly side tracked from what it started out to be. I wanted to see more DK trev :(
• Thundersnow: The problem is I stopped playing WoW some 2 and a half years ago. This meant that most of the inspiration I drew for the original comic was gone and I didn't have to heart to just kill the comic. So I kept going. Nonetheless, I personally like the subsequent story arcs. Sure everything loses its steam eventually, but they gave me a boost while they lasted.
• mattwo: All you need to do is keep up with WoW news and maybe browse the wikis.
• Thundersnow: It's not the same as when you're playing, that's the thing.
  
• Sunya: Thanks for not quitting on the comic! I love the drawing style and the characters you created. I really hope this new story will be as good as the last one :)
• Thundersnow: In my opinion it's 10 times better, though very different in nature.
• Taiine: I'll still miss the glads. It was a unique idea and wasn't centered around one character type aimed at SAVING DA WHOLE WORLD or is the OMG KEY TO ENDING THIS OR THAT. Even the story with Arthas was nice as they weren't the focus to 'beating' him, more like conned and tossed to the side that left them for the most unscaved. Their 'dumb luck' playing out.
  
  But after that it became a focal point that they be the 'heros to save the world' and then the plot twist with Mr. crab cake dieing during that alt arc only to be back at the end of the cata one... Yeah the last two stories just sort of side tracked from what made this comic fun :3
  
  Hope this new story works out but what will you be doing with the sites title?

I've been reading this comic since like the beginning, and never felt like wanting to post a comment, but i had to make one to say that I'll really... really... REALLY gonna miss the original characters (Mainly Vallant) if they don't appear from now on; I got too atached to them, but I'm happy that you've found a new story and inspiration; Good Luck! I know this will be a great story!
