Good morning, my lovelies. Jet lag is a whore. I will write something meaningful about the comic in the next couple of minutes.
*crickets chirping*
So yeah, I think I'm sober enough to write a few words. When we originally created the storyboard for this 60th page, it looked like this. Incidentally, this should give you a good insight into our 'creative process'. OK, so it's not all that, but it's a fun spin on things (pardon the pun).
What you see in the storyboard is my original concept, but I liked the idea of one of our readers so much (thanks, Enova), I actually went ahead and modified the storyboard to fit the general outline of his suggestion. I just thought the idea of Spin tripping he's got powers had quite a bit of comedic potential and I think that comes off fairly well in this panel.
Granted, the story itself is not as fully consistent (if you can call TehGladiators' plot 'consistent' in any context) as it may be in the original storyboard, but I think we did OK in putting some sort of structure to it. This will be even more apparent as we publish 61, so stay tuned.

He's my favorite character tied w/ Vallant.
I definitely think he should do something, because it's not very much fun if he's just sitting in the background.
After all, You can't make fun of what he's doing if he's not doing anything!
A suggestion for what this could've been - He becomes a elemental god for JUST this one match because the Spirit that resides in this arena lent Spin it's power. That would look so awesome, humour is good but once I would like to see them win without a fluke :)
If you did something like that, like spin or somebody else being really strong as owning people properly with cool effects / drawings just for one match, I'm sure people would love that change :)
I was sure one of the ideas will get in the writers mind. On pgae 59 i also liked most enova's idea:) So great job writer you really did it good:P
Would be nice if they finally go to some raid or instance (reminds me on beginning of this comic). BTW, great job, keep it up :D

I must say I wouldve loved to see Spin become a massively powerful Shaman, but then again, he would be one of Teh Glads if he had powers. Did love the art on the T2 set, keep up the great work!
Most people overlooked the "blue post" in this comic or what? (last pic ;) ) What Spin is going through is clearly the usual buff-nerf game of Bli... *cough*... the gods :) He got buffed, so he could almost be useful in arena, but then he got nerfed suddenly again. Just as shamans usually...

Couldn'T spin adleast get some sort of "Shaman spell book" like the hunter one Valant got in comic 22? he could adleast start sparkle from his fingers:)
Or let him smoke a bit more, so that he thinks he's a bear/cat....
Idea; Spin keeps trying to cast spells then nothing happens a few seconds later the new pet does something to cause a related activity to what Spin was trying to do, then people think it was Spin?
spin doesn't need a class, all he needs is to catch a cold from a frost DK and sneeze everyone into traps.
