In the grand scheme of things, being dumb and incredibly lucky is the way to go. You can spin it any way you like, but think about it: you are cradled by your own stupidity while pleasant and great things happen to you due to your incredible luck.
If we flip this around, being incredibly smart and unlucky is obviously at the other end of that spectrum. And how sucky that must be, right? You are perfectly aware of the right steps and the bad steps that other people are taking, while being dealt one blow after another by an unseen force your incredibly intelligent brain has absolutely diddly-squat control over.
That said, have fun and see you next Friday. Yes, this was completely random, just like my thought process.

Also, about your not-so-random author note, I completly hear you about the lucky & unskilled or skilled & unlucky. I am in those who never gets any reward by randomness (never I tell you), and yet I out perform anyone in effort & TPS/DPS. Go know why. Luckly, the new Emblem system just doesn't rely to much on lucky, just gotta do Heroics/raids & I got gear (yeah!)
